Are you referring to empirical work on your part and if so wouldn't it be more
accurate so say that your studies strongly suggest a *statistical association* 
internationally between wage differences and productivity and rate of exploitation 
differences?  This is quite different from a claim that wage differences "depend on"
variations in productivity and exploitation.  Don't different national experiences in 
terms of the size of the relative surplus population and class struggle also help to
account for international variations in wages?
