Welcome back to the discussion on OPE-L, Alan. A *very* short comment on
something you wrote near the end of your [OPE-L:4896]:

When you suggest that one needs to be a "champion of all the ideas that it
scorns", this sounds like the maxim "an enemy of my enemy is my friend".

The economics profession scorns many viewpoints (e.g. astrological
forecasting of economic growth)  that we wouldn't want to champion, doesn't
