Dunayevskaya wrote _Marxism and Freedom_, of course, not _Capitalism and
Freedom_. Uncle Miltie Friedman wrote the latter.

Dunayevskaya's argument regarding the 1866 additions to the chapter on the
working day is based on a letter of Marx in 1866 (early part of the year, and
I'm almost certain, to Engels). He says he has decided to add an "historical
part" to the chapter of the working day.

It is also important to note that Marx brings in current struggles into the
Preface (1867 ed.)--both the struggle for a shorter workday AND the freeing
of the slaves in the U.S. Clearly he could not have done so before 1866.
