Venezuela has a relatively independent judiciary as is evidenced by a number
of recent rulings by the courts against the Chavez government. Of course, it's
not perfect. But, it's almost certainly better than the judicial process in
the US where the courts appointed a President, where the police are a criminal
gang, where the class and race of defendants makes a huge difference in
legal rulings, et al. The judicial process in the Us certainly is _not_
transparent.
