What I meant by importance here was "strategic importance", i.e. to put
those war criminals on trial. You have a much better case here.
Moreover, there is ideologically a greater credibility here rather than
the very diverse camp of conspiracy theorists, who quite frankly, have
no extraordinary evidence to back extraordinary and implausible claims.

I have not hatred for these theorists (and I hold the non-socialist Left
of the Democratic Party in nothing but contempt) but I certainly and
consciously have a dismissive tone toward conspiracy theorists. It is
one thing to be skeptical towards official versions of governments,
especially the US govt. given its history of covert operations around
the globe. But the skepticism here ought to be restricted to a position
of "they are most likely withholding information" not insinuating or
claiming something that has very little backing.

Information disclosure is worthwhile, the rest seems to be a waste of
time, effort and credibility; a projection of one's disgust and
political frustration towards the Bush II administration more than
anything else.
