Hi Patrick:

It seems to me that this story is about the arrogance of power
associated with capital and the state:  i.e. the belief by Wolfowitz
that he could do whatever he wanted to do because of the power
that he had.  Such arrogance -- the belief that they can get away with
anything, and are basically not answerable to anyone -- has been a
characteristic of the neo-cons since G.W. Bush was anointed
