Open up Network Neighborhood. If you're not looking at the Carswell
workgroup when it opens, go to the "Entire network" and double-click on the
Carswell icon. Then double-click on Ricardo. One of the shares
available there is eviews4. Open this up, and you can run the program,
eviews4.exe.
There is documentation, in PDF format, in the docs
sub-folder of eviews4.
If you like, when you have the listing of shares on Ricardo open, you
can right-click on the eviews4 folder, choose "Map network drive", and map this
as "drive E:" (or whatever). You can also choose to have it re-mapped
automatically on startup. That way you can create a desktop shortcut to
e:\eviews4.exe, and have the program accessible in future without
having to navigate network neighborhood.
